ArtSugar is thrilled to welcome Jessie Rubin, selling five exclusive acrylic prints by the artist, created just for our platform. We are excited to offer this medium for the first time, and with such a talented artist at the helm. Each piece is available in six sizes, and in square and rectangular formats.
Jessie's compositions are inspired by the human experience, from invented symbols and hieroglyphics to pop culture. Through the use of bold color, layer application, patterning and intuitive design, her goal is to translate these themes into visual narratives that are hip, fun and meaningful. She paints in a wide variety of styles, and experiment with different materials, but always seems to come back to acrylic paint and oil sticks.
Jessie grew up in Chappaqua New York, where she now lives with her husband and two sons. She received a B.A. from Cornell University and a J.D. from the Washington University School of Law.
Despite studying Government at Cornell and practicing as a litigator in private law for the past decade — Jessie's passion has always been her art. With her family by her side and paint brush in hand, she is truly living her best life.
