ArtSugar X Robyn

ArtSugar and Robynย partnerย on a curated collection that gives back to Baby Quest, a foundation thatย awards grants to those who cannot afford to pursue procedures such as IVF, egg and sperm donation, egg freezing, embryo donation, and gestational surrogacy. Since 2012, theyย have awarded nearly 100 grants totaling over $1.6 million in cash and cash equivalents (negotiated doctor discounts, medications, waived legal fees.) There are now 66 Baby Quest babies throughout the country with 14 more on the way. Baby Quest is the philanthropic partner of Robyn,ย working together to empower those battling infertility - providing education and financial help to ease the emotional and financial burden of this often stigmatized condition.

To celebrate National Infertility Awareness Week (April 21-27 2019), for the entire month ofย April,ย ArtSugar is donating to Baby Quest with each purchase site-wide, and directly through Robyn founder, Alli Kasirer's shoppable curated collection.a room with white wallsRobyn, formerly FertileGirl, began as a space for women to share their personal and unfiltered stories about trying to conceive, and how they coped along the way, shedding light on the myths and normalizing the taboos. Now, theirย mission is to empower you with the tools and resources you need to prioritize your maternal wellness. With access to a network of integrative maternal wellness tools, resources, and specialists, theyย have everything you need on your journey to pre-pregnancy and beyond. Because when it comes to starting a family, theyย recognize that not all paths look the same and everyoneโ€™s needs are unique. Theyย envision a world in which a womanโ€™s right to motherhood is her prerogative, and can be realized without stigma or socioeconomic barriers. Robyn is committed to destigmatizing, democratizing, and defending oneโ€™s right to have a family until that vision is realized.ย

Baby Quest founder Pamela Hirsch notes:ย "It is gratifying to see that every year, more attention is given to infertility and to those battling this condition - often ignored in the past. Thanks to Robynย for working with Baby Quest to open the conversation, educate, and increase charitable donations to Baby Quest - all of which go towards helping grant recipients with IVFย and gestational surrogacy. ArtSugar's collaboration with Baby Quest and Robynย is yet another example of supporting those struggling with infertility."

Robyn wasย born out of founder Alli Kasirer's,ย personal fertility journey. Alli was aย Vice President at J.P.ย Morgan passionate about breaking the glass ceiling and managing a group oneย day. That all changed when herย husband and sheย had trouble getting pregnant.ย While Alliย felt so alone, sheย soon learned that sheย was far from alone; 1 in 8 couplesย struggle with fertility issues, and 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. Theย biggest change in herย personal journey came when sheย stopped treating fertilityย like a big secret. Having thisย newfoundย experience, Alli set out on aย mission to make sure no otherย woman ever felt as alone andย confused as she once did on herย fertility journey.ย Alliย started sharing herย journey on social media and now Robynย is a digital platform (30k in total size) for other women to share theirย pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and postpartum journeys. Alli'sย personal story has aย happy ending โ€“ sheย has two yearย old twin boys through IVF and just had herย third boy โ€“ but the Robynย story is justย beginning.

Alli says:ย "I am beyond thrilledย to beย partnering with ArtSugar as part of their influencer-curated collections. ย This is a unique opportunity to use both of our platforms to further the mission of destigmatizing, democratizing, and defending oneโ€™s right to have a family. ย For the month of April (when National Infertility Awareness Week takes place) a percentage of Art Sugarโ€™s sales will be donated to Baby Quest Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides financial grants to couples struggling with the cost of fertility treatments." ย

ArtSugar is soย excited to share Alli's curated ArtSugar collection filled with art that speaks to her and her company's mission. And,ย throughย ArtSugar x Robyn, we had the opportunity to gift Brittney Miller, an LA based Baby Quest recipient an artworkย for her nursery.
