ArtSugar is honored to collaborate with God's Love We Deliver, New York metropolitan area’s leading provider of life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses.
In partnership with God's Love We Deliver, artist Michael Turchin and ArtSugar co-founder Alix Greenberg created original love-themed artworks for the project currently on view at The Anna Wintour Volunteer Center within the God's Love facility in NYC. These works are being offered on artsugar.co as Limited Edition Prints, with 25% of the proceeds benefiting the organization.
The artworks lend themselves to the mission and history of God's Love We Deliver, both thematically and visually. Founded in 1985 when one woman began delivering food on her bicycle to a man dying from AIDS, God's Love now cooks 6,600 meals each weekday, delivering them to clients living with life-altering illnesses in all five boroughs of New York City, Westchester and Nassau Counties, and Hudson County, New Jersey. And, with Valentine's Day approaching, love is further highlighted in both artists use of the word, truly embodying the spirit of the day.
