ArtSugar X Robyn

ArtSugar X Robyn

ArtSugar and Robyn partner on a curated collection that gives back to Baby Quest, a foundation that awards grants to those who cannot afford to pursue procedures such as IVF, egg and sperm donation, egg freezing, embryo donation, and gestational surrogacy. Since 2012, they have awarded nearly 100 grants totaling over $1.6 million in cash and cash equivalents (negotiated doctor discounts, medications, waived legal fees.) There are now 66 Baby Quest babies throughout the country with 14 more on the way. Baby Quest is the philanthropic partner of Robyn, working together to empower those battling infertility - providing education and financial help to ease the emotional and financial burden of this often stigmatized condition.

To celebrate National Infertility Awareness Week (April 21-27 2019), for the entire month of April, ArtSugar is donating to Baby Quest with each purchase site-wide, and directly through Robyn founder, Alli Kasirer's shoppable curated collection.a room with white wallsRobyn, formerly FertileGirl, began as a space for women to share their personal and unfiltered stories about trying to conceive, and how they coped along the way, shedding light on the myths and normalizing the taboos. Now, their mission is to empower you with the tools and resources you need to prioritize your maternal wellness. With access to a network of integrative maternal wellness tools, resources, and specialists, they have everything you need on your journey to pre-pregnancy and beyond. Because when it comes to starting a family, they recognize that not all paths look the same and everyone’s needs are unique. They envision a world in which a woman’s right to motherhood is her prerogative, and can be realized without stigma or socioeconomic barriers. Robyn is committed to destigmatizing, democratizing, and defending one’s right to have a family until that vision is realized.

Baby Quest founder Pamela Hirsch notes: "It is gratifying to see that every year, more attention is given to infertility and to those battling this condition - often ignored in the past. Thanks to Robyn for working with Baby Quest to open the conversation, educate, and increase charitable donations to Baby Quest - all of which go towards helping grant recipients with IVF and gestational surrogacy. ArtSugar's collaboration with Baby Quest and Robyn is yet another example of supporting those struggling with infertility."

Robyn was born out of founder Alli Kasirer's, personal fertility journey. Alli was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan passionate about breaking the glass ceiling and managing a group one day. That all changed when her husband and she had trouble getting pregnant. While Alli felt so alone, she soon learned that she was far from alone; 1 in 8 couples struggle with fertility issues, and 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. The biggest change in her personal journey came when she stopped treating fertility like a big secret. Having this newfound experience, Alli set out on a mission to make sure no other woman ever felt as alone and confused as she once did on her fertility journey. Alli started sharing her journey on social media and now Robyn is a digital platform (30k in total size) for other women to share their pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and postpartum journeys. Alli's personal story has a happy ending – she has two year old twin boys through IVF and just had her third boy – but the Robyn story is just beginning.

Alli says: "I am beyond thrilled to be partnering with ArtSugar as part of their influencer-curated collections.  This is a unique opportunity to use both of our platforms to further the mission of destigmatizing, democratizing, and defending one’s right to have a family.  For the month of April (when National Infertility Awareness Week takes place) a percentage of Art Sugar’s sales will be donated to Baby Quest Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides financial grants to couples struggling with the cost of fertility treatments."

ArtSugar is so excited to share Alli's curated ArtSugar collection filled with art that speaks to her and her company's mission. And, through ArtSugar x Robyn, we had the opportunity to gift Brittney Miller, an LA based Baby Quest recipient an artwork for her nursery.
