ArtSugar's Biggest Thing Yet!

We’re all about female role models at ArtSugar, so I’m personally excited to share this news and get you involved in our new mission that starts right now

Read on! If you've been following my entrepreneurial journey over the past 11 months, then you already know what inspired me to quit my 9-to-5 job, empty my checking account, and launch ArtSugar, an e-commerce platform that sells affordable art by globally sourced artists. But for those who may not: In June of 2017, I lost my beloved Grandma “Nanny” Sylvia to pancreatic cancer. A beautiful, fierce female and pillar of strength in my life had suddenly lost all steam. Like the well over 50,000 people who are diagnosed with this disease every year (that’s 120 per day!), Sylvia's battle was unfortunately a short one. Despite medical advances, the mortality rate remains at over 91%, which is why I felt I had to get involved. I did some research, and was thrilled to discover CodePurple, the only national awareness and advocacy campaign to fight pancreatic cancer. Thanks to their bold new approach, there is now hope of developing an early detection test for this disease. Drawing inspiration from my dynamic grandmother, I decided to partner with iFundWomen, a crowdfunding platform for women-led startups and small businesses. My goal is to raise $30,000, and that’s where you come in. With every dollar contributed, 50 cents will be donated to CodePurple. The other half will benefit ArtSugar, which is why we’re offering you some great rewards to acknowledge your participation in this campaign. Thank you for considering a contribution. In doing so, you will not only be helping to advance the growth of ArtSugar, you will also be joining in the fight against pancreatic cancer.

Let's do this!
